| I know I keep saying that i'm gonna make time to add new posts, but it seems like everytime I say that, I seem to get more and more busy. But God has brought me through A LOT of my personal trials and problems that I've been havin recently!! Isn't God AWESOME?!?!?! But anyways, this is a song that I wrote a few weeks ago..I hope you all like it, so lemme kno what you think!!!
This Man
One sleepless night while laying in my bed. All the troubles of this life were running through my head. AsI began to think about about the past, of how this life would not last. And how I'd never reach that land. Unless I had a talk with this man.
This Man, oh he bled and died. This Man, for the lost he was crucified. He healed and he saved. The debts of sin He humbly paid. This Man, oh this Man.
I then bowed down on my knees, crying Lord please save me. And just like that he entered in. He cleansed my heart from every sin. He will do this for you, if you'll just ask him to. This Man, oh this Man.
BTW.....If any of you guys have any prayer requests or praise reports or anything like that, leave them in a comment!! I'll try my best to reply!! | | |
| Hey guys.....sorry i haven't been on in awhile!! I've been going through some things spipritually, mentally, and physically. But imma try my best to stand and fight...i'm tired of giving in!! I'm ready to WIN!! Please keep me in your prayers. This is a forward i got.....but it touched me and i pray it will touch you too!!
Angel Knocking at the Door
There came a frantic knock
At the doctor's office door,
A knock, more urgent than
he had ever heard before.
"Come in, Come in,"
the impatient doctor said,
"Come in, Come in,
before you wake the dead."
In walked a frightened little girl,
a child no more than nine,
It was plain for all to see,
she had troubles on her mind.
"Oh doctor, I beg you,
please come with me,
My mother is surely dying,
she's as sick as she can be."
"I don't make house calls,
bring your mother here,"
"But she's too sick,
so you must come or she will die I fear."
The doctor, touched by her devotion,
decided he would go,
She said he would be blessed,
more than he could know.
She led him to her house
where her mother lay in bed,
Her mother was so very sick
she couldn't raise her head.
But her eyes cried out for help
and help her the doctor did,
She would have died that very night
had it not been for her kid.
The doctor got her fever down
and she lived through the night,
And morning brought the doctor signs,
that she would be all right.
The doctor said he had to leave
but would return again by two,
And later he came back to check,
just like he said he'd do.
The mother praised the doctor
for all the things he'd done,
He told her she would have died,
were it not for her little one.
"How proud you must be
of your wonderful little girl,
It was her pleading that made me come,
she is really quite a pearl!
"But doctor, my daughter died
over three years ago,
Is the picture on the wall
of the little girl you know?"
The doctors legs went limp
for the picture on the wall,
Was the same little girl
for whom he'd made this call.
The doctor stood motionless,
for quite a little while,
And then his solemn face,
was broken by his smile.
He was thinking of that frantic knock
heard at his office door,
And of the beautiful little angel
that had walked across his floor.
Share the Blessing of Heavenly Love!
I KNOW there are Angels among us.......

SalvationThe Bible says...
"All of us have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
Paul was a murderer (Acts 9:1) yet God saved him. Mary Magdalene was a prostitute yet God saved her. (Luke 7:37). Zacchaeus was a tax collector (Luke 19:2), a thief (Luke 19:8), yet God saved him.
No sin is too big for God to wash. HE is Faithful to His Word and He says that He will in no way cast out those that come to Him. Anyone that calls on the name of Jesus Christ, The Son of The Living God, shall be saved.
The Bible further says…
"If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."(Romans 10:9-10)
PRAY THIS PAYER AND RECEIVE THE GIFT OF SALVATION:
"Jesus, I believe you are Lord and that you died on the cross for my sins. I accept that you are the perfect sacrifice that took my place. Please save me and write my name in the Book of Life. Remove my name from the book of death. Be Lord of my life now and forever more. Amen."
If you sincerely prayed the above prayer and confessed it with your mouth, then you are saved, redeemed, born again and accepted into the Glorious Kingdom of God!

Speed of Light

"You are the light of the world." (Matthew 5:14)
As Christians we are called to be the light of the world. We're supposed to be examples to the people around us who are not saved. It is our job to show this dying place a love from a Savior that will erase their deepest, darkest secrets and give them hope for a future. The only way to show the love of Christ is to act like He would.
The other day I was cruising down the highway in the city when a van past me by. I glanced down at my speedometer and I was going around 65 miles an hour. So this guy was hauling. After he passed me, a speed limit sign showed 45 miles an hour. "Wow, he's just asking for a ticket." I snickered as he continued to pass.
After he passed through, I was amazed to see that it was a van for the handicapped, and on the back it said, "We take pride in driving safe, see you at the next stop light." I couldn't believe what I just saw. Here was a guy already breaking the law and then to be speeding displaying that type of sign on the rear of his van, was just beyond my comprehension. Now, I don't know about you, but I started to think differently of how this person was. Sure he says one thing about driving safe, but then the next second he's speeding down the highway.
Of course it didn't take me long to realize that if I knew he was going faster than 65 there was a problem, because not only was he speeding, but so was I. Now I don't have a "drive safe" sticker on the back of my truck, but what I do have is a bumper billboard for the tailgate of my truck. I have two Christian bumper stickers and a sexy little gold plastic fish attached. So, when people see my truck, they know that a Christian is inside it, but, when they see me flying down the highway drag racing a handicapped van, people will start to wonder what kind of Christian I am.
When you claim Jesus as your Savior you also claim His name. You become a walking billboard for Christ. Everyone that passes by you knows there is something about you that sets you apart from the crowd. Knowing this, we have to strive to be as good a Christian as possible, because through our actions, we give people reasons to believe in us or to think that it's all a phony. I mean if you can't tell the difference between a Christian and a non-Christian then what's the use? Use this week to set yourself apart from the rest of the world and let your little light shine. You would be amazed at how fast light can travel.
God Bless and Keep the Faith!

| Blessed Persecution
"Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 5:10).
The eighth of Christ's "beatitudes" is perhaps the most difficult of all to understand and accept. How can persecution possibly be a blessing? "Rejoice," He said, "for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you" (Matthew 5:12). The first prophet was Abel, and he was murdered by Cain. Moses was reviled, David was hounded by Saul, Elijah was pursued by Ahab and Jezebel, Jeremiah was imprisoned, Daniel was thrown in a den of lions, and Nehemiah was opposed and defamed. John the Baptist was beheaded, and later, all the apostles were bitterly persecuted with all except John dying as martyrs.
The Lord did not promise a blessing to all those suffering persecution, of course, but specifically to those persecuted for righteousness' sake. "For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ," Paul said, "not only to believe on Him, but also to suffer for His sake" (Philippians 1:29).
Persecution of true Christians has continued through all the years since. It is more severe in some times and places than others, but it is always there to some degree. As Jesus said: "Because ye are not of the world, . . . therefore the world hateth you" (John 15:19). Furthermore, persecution will be more intense than ever in the last days. "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived" (II Timothy 3:12-13).
There is a divine purpose in all this, however, and this turns the suffering into a blessing. When His life truly becomes our life, He promises that we shall, indeed, possess the kingdom of heaven. "It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with Him, we shall also live with Him: If we suffer, we shall also reign with Him" (II Timothy 2:11-12). HMM
